Whether you are a solo traveller or a couple planning your next vacay, we have a variety of Morocco surf holiday packages for you to enjoy a comfortable stay with us. We also offer family surf camp packages and group surf trips for small and large groups.
Our Tamraght surf house is a cozy, clean and well maintained accommodation facility with daily house-keeping to make your stay comfortable. We serve authentic with cooked with freshly sourced local ingredients. In-house pool-table, swimming pool, Free Wi-Fi, games, and entertainment ensure you you feel at home. From shared rooms to private rooms, and family units, we have a range of board and lodge options for your specific needs.
Our surf camp is just few steps away from Tamraght beach, making it super easy for you to grab your board and paddle out whenever you want. If you are taking surf lessons, you will be assigned to an instructor. Each surf instructor is allocated a small group of students of the same surf level. The first two hours of your surf lesson is a mix of theory and practical coaching. Then you take a lunch, followed by a free-surf session under the supervision of your surf coach.
Hungry? Well, the Chef at our Tamraght surf camp is crazy about the Moroccan cuisine and does he plate up some scrumptious meals? Don’t worry – its not all Moroccan food; he serves up a different cuisine every day. From Italian and continental, to American; you’ll get all cuisines here. Ah, and you will also enjoy an awesome BBQ night at our Tamraght surf house.
Whether you’re a Vegetarian, Vegan or Gluten Intolerant, we’ve got your dietary needs covered! There is plenty of variety to offer and we’ll make sure you are well fed during your stay with us in Tamraght.
Agadir Al Massira Airport is 45 minutes from our Tamraght surf camp. If you are already in Morocco, then you can take a bus to Agadir City, which is 20 minutes. You can either take a taxi or we can arrange a pick-up for you.
We provide meals for all dietary needs, including Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free. Just let us know when you make the booking so we can pass on the information to our Chef before you arrive in Tamraght. There are also a bunch of cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy a meal of your choice. If you like seafood, you will find plenty of fresh seafood options in Tamraght.
Tamraght is a quiet and very safe village for tourists. It’s safe for women to walk around the streets – people mind their business. You will come across several friendly locals who can speak French, English, German, Dutch, and Spanish. There are always laid-back tourists around from various countries like Russia, Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, etc.
Tamraght is a quiet village with a mix of conservative and open-minded locals. While it is fine to wear whatever you want, we recommend not to walk around town in a bikini or revealing clothes. As a mark of respect towards the locals and their culture, we suggest keeping the bikinis only for the beach or pool.
Our surf instructor will provide a wetsuit for your surf lessons. You just need to carry comfortable swimwear to wear under the wetsuit. Rash-guard will be useful if you want to surf without a wetsuit.
You will receive a surf board from our Tamraght surf house to take for your surf lesson. Beginners start off on a soft-board. You can always bring your own board if you have one.
Each surf lesson included a maximum of 8 surfers with similar surf levels to ensure that the coaching is appropriate for all. More experienced surfers are put in different group assigned to a different coach.
Each surf lesson is approximately 2 hours, supervised by the surf coach during the first session of the day. The second session of the day is free-surf time, but still under the surf coach’s observation.
Depending on your surf level, the coach will tailor his coaching to suit your individual needs. Beginner and early intermediate surfers can be managed in small groups. More experienced or advanced surfers will not be included in beginner level surf lessons.
Tamraght does not have any bottle-shops or Späti that sells alcohol. However, you can buy alcohol at Duty Free or in Agadir and bring it to our Tamraght surf camp. Its always great to have a couple of drinks and unwind at the end of the your day.
The tap water in Tamraght is treated and safe to drink. However, when you visit our Tamraght surf camp, we do provide bottled water to help you avoid any chance of a tummy-bug due to change of water.
